v2.9
Better on every screen, private by defaultOctober 2026Released
- On iPhone, the white bar at the top is gone. It now has the same colour as the page
- That bar also turns light or dark along with the page
- Nothing is hidden behind the camera or the rounded corners of your phone, even when you hold it sideways
- The page now fills your whole phone screen
- In dark mode everything is dark now, including the scroll bar
- A proper Cloud Alerts icon when you add the site to your home screen
- Incident texts are easier to read: words no longer stick together
- Pressing Refresh twice quickly now shows a short note instead of an error
- Error messages are written in plain language
- Easier to use with only a keyboard or with a screen reader
- Sharing a link to the Docs, Roadmap or Legal page now shows a picture
- A clear page with a way back when a link does not exist
- You now decide whether we may use cookies for statistics. Nothing is tracked until you agree
- Saying no is just as easy as saying yes
- Change your choice at any time via "Manage consent" at the bottom of every page
- Our visitor statistics work again, but only for visitors who agree
- Security updates behind the scenes
v2.8
More reliable alertsSeptember 2026Released
- Push notifications are no longer missed when a status page briefly stops responding just as a problem starts
- Incident descriptions no longer show stray code from some status pages
- The public API now also counts the services whose status page we cannot reach
- The www address now opens the site correctly
- Light or dark mode now follows your device setting by default
- The theme button now has three options — System, Light and Dark — so you can always switch back to your device setting
- The page headers fit better on small phone screens
v2.7
Honest statusAugust 2026Released
- Services whose status page we cannot reach are now marked "Platform unreachable" instead of being shown as working
- Fixed the status readings for Amazon AWS, Oracle Cloud, Apple and Meta — these were quietly showing as fine
- Mailchimp moved to its own status platform and has been replaced by Brevo
- Incidents that a provider has not updated in a while now say so, so you can tell fresh problems from old ones
- Services with several open incidents now show the most recent one, with a button to reveal the rest
- The site now loads its own font, so it looks the way it should everywhere
